Overview
What the U Framework documentation covers and how it is organized.
Welcome to the U Framework documentation. It serves three audiences: engineers who want to understand how we build, technical leaders evaluating whether to work with us, and our own team.

Status labels
Every page carries a status so you always know what you are reading:
- Stable — describes something that exists and works today.
- Policy — describes how we work; it is binding on our own practice.
- Design draft — describes something being designed. It is not a released product, and details will change.
Start with What exists today for a precise account of what is shipped.
