Working with U Framework
How projects run: phases, artifacts, handover.
A project with U Framework follows the same line from idea to system that you can see on the homepage.
Phases
| Phase | What happens | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| Research | We understand the problem, users, constraints and existing systems. | Problem statement, constraints, risks |
| Strategy | We decide what to build first and how success is measured. | Scope, milestones, success metrics |
| Architecture | Data, boundaries, security and scale are designed. | Architecture document, decision records |
| Design | Interfaces are designed and validated with real content. | Interface designs, prototypes |
| Engineering | The system is built in small, reviewed increments. | Working software, weekly |
| Intelligence | AI capabilities are added where they measurably help. | Evaluated AI features |
| Infrastructure | Environments, pipelines, monitoring and backups. | Provisioned environments, runbooks |
| Launch | Staged release and verification in production. | Release report |
| Evolution | Measurement and iteration. | Roadmap, improvements |
Communication
- A single technical lead is accountable for the project.
- Progress is demonstrated with working software, not slides.
- Decisions with lasting consequences are written down as decision records.
Handover
Every system is delivered so that your team can own it: source code, infrastructure definitions, documentation and a walkthrough. Ongoing operation by U Framework is available but never required.
